Whenever I visit Tortuguero, I try to stay at this place. It’s comfortable, clean, central, close to the national park, and very complete. The bed is super comfortable. Everything is perfect; the guy who receives, Luis, is very kind!!
The room was wonderful: spacious, clean, quiet, with hot water and perfectly located in the center of Tortuguero. They have a travel agency nearby where it’s worth booking tours because the guides are great and the prices are very good. The only issue was that the Wi‑Fi in the room only worked well enough to send WhatsApp; it was better when I turned it off and used my data. The Wi‑Fi at the travel agency, just a few meters away, worked perfectly.
They help you organize all the excursions, which makes the stay easier. The room is small and has no wardrobe.

The place sits in a great spot with a balcony that looks out over the main water channel, and the view is nice. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and I’d recommend checking out their tours because the guides are excellent. The downside is that there are a lot of ants in the kitchenette and at the main entrance – understandable given Tortuguero’s environment – and a table and chair in the room would have been useful.
