I was blown away by the room’s stunning view, but I was disappointed that there was no lunch room service even though the menu was in the room. The dinner times listed in the lift and on Google were incorrect.

The main building looks absolutely gorgeous, and the way it was restored while keeping its original character makes us feel truly connected to São João da Madeira. The expansion with all the amenities was a pleasant surprise, the gym is very well equipped and the spa area is very relaxing, just like the outdoor area – it was a nice surprise that the outdoor pool was still usable on 5 October. Breakfast also offers a lot of variety. The downside is that the private parking costs extra and the flow of people during breakfast is a bit inconvenient; we had to wait for the tables to be cleared and it’s not very easy to reach the products.

Algemeen is het hotel gewoon geweldig! Van A-Z goed verzorgd. Top ontbijt, Super kamer, perfecte faciliteiten. Het hotel kan daar niet zoveel aan doen. Sao Joao is niet de mooiste stad van Portugal

Super confortável elegante e lindíssimo . Uma viagem na história!. Na piscina interior falta um jacuzzi e os jatos, tornava-se mais relaxante. Muita demora a servir no serviço de bar
