“Well certainly would not go back”
The room wasn’t particularly clean, especially the carpets, and the stairs were so dark that it clearly needs a facelift. The older part of the hotel also required a thorough cleaning, and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut properly.

The staff were friendly, the breakfast excellent and the restaurant great; the rooms and bathrooms are very small, and there is mold on the shower walls.

The room was very comfortable and we slept well. However, the service was a lot worse than expected; I booked in early August for a 3 Sept stay because the rooms looked good and there was a nice restaurant with a good menu, but by the time I arrived the restaurant had closed. They didn’t contact me to let me know, which was extremely poor service.

The welcome was calm, the location close to the water, the city center and a forest walk, plus a nice restaurant; the room and bathroom feel cramped, and the view is blocked by the nearby mountain, making the room quite dark.
