The Cliffe Restaurant & Bar is on site, and guests can walk to the Leas Cliff Hall in 1 minute and the beach in 3 minutes. The hotel is a 10-minute drive from the Eurotunnel and 15 minutes from Folkestone Central Train Station.

How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The setting was lovely with sea views and close to the Eurotunnel; breakfast was very good and the rooms were large, which was a pleasure for us and our dog. The extra bed for our daughter was uncomfortable and rounded; she couldn’t sleep well. The room was warm, and even though the windows were open, there was little airflow.

We were upgraded at no extra cost to a huge premium room overlooking the sea—absolutely brilliant. The front‑desk colleague also gave us a few pointers for a quick stroll along the Leas promenade in Folkstone. Dinner at the hotel restaurant Cliff was solid, especially considering the value for money, and the breakfast offered a nice spread with cereal, fruit, eggs, bacon, cheese, and more. Parking was a breeze; we snagged a spot right in front of the entrance, and £9 per night is perfectly reasonable. The only downside was that the corridors could use a renovation.

Staff were lovely. I had mistakenly booked the wrong night at hotel and without any fuss the room was rebooked for the correct date. English and continental breakfast to choose from. Location r8fht on the sea front. The window in room would not say closed and strong winds opened it in the night, a touch drafty! No plug near mirror

The stay was brilliant; the staff were friendly and any request was handled quickly, the location was great, and the hotel was clean and tidy—definitely coming back. Nothing to note as a negative.
