Lion Rock Haven Cabana

“Relaxing jungle stay, with everything you might need.”

Everything about Lion Rock Haven Cabana was fantastic. The staff were lovely and attentive, while still giving you space; the perfect balance. The location was great if you prefer something a little out of Sigiriya town (less than a 5‑minute drive), it was secluded, with incredible views of farmland and the rock. There is a delicious restaurant within a short walking distance. The pool area is lovely to relax, watch the peacocks and then cool down in the sun. The farm (where breakfast fruits are provided from) is lovely. The cat is adorable. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. All in all, 10/10. Thoroughly recommend!

“Mooiste cabana midden in de natuur”

The view was beautiful, the pool and the lovely vegetable garden, but especially the enormous hospitality and help from Jamal! You can ask him anything and he thinks about everything you need there. He drove us back and forth several times with his car. In the night it is noisy because you are really in the middle of nature, but earplugs solve this instantly. It is really worth it!

The location is great with a view of Sigiriya Rock and Pidurangala, but the best part of the accommodation is the friendly host with his family. Not only did he and his sons take me to Sigiriya Rock, he also picked me up for free elsewhere, and most importantly he took me to sunrise on Pidurangula in the morning. He helps with everything a traveler needs, from safari organization, transfers, to good prices, dinner, or borrowing an umbrella. The food was also very tasty.

Jayampathi’s hospitality, the cleanliness, and overall care of the accommodation stood out. The room was very comfortable and everything was well prepared for our stay.

The location is scenic with amazing views of Lions Rock and Pidurangala. There were no complaints; it was a perfect getaway, a relaxing spot, and Jayampathi and his family were excellent hosts who looked after us very well 😎.
