Very close to everything yet still very private. Perfect for a group of 4‑8 people. You’ll have the whole complex to yourself. The owner is very nice and everything you need is available.

Just a 5‑minute walk to the lake, and the water was warm and spotless – definitely coming back.

The interior felt more like a hotel room than a bungalow, and it was decent value in Ban Rak Thai, though pricey for Southeast Asia. The property sits on the edge of town, so a scooter helps because walking is a bit of a trek. Check‑in was confusing; we had to head to the neighboring building to find someone.

There was no hot shower, and the reception was a mystery – you had to hunt for a lady.

The place looked nice, offered private parking and an outdoor fire, but there was no help at check‑in.
