The room and bathroom were neat and tidy, the breakfast was nice, and the location was excellent—just a short walk to the Duomo. Only one of the three elevators was working at the time, but the staff were very helpful.

I would advise anyone to stay away from this place – it was an extremely disappointing and distressing experience. Since July we have been chasing a resolution for a serious theft, but the hotel has ignored us and kept making empty promises. While we were having breakfast in our room at Hotel Ariston in Milan, €3,000 in cash and a Louis Vuitton pochette vanished. The manager even told us that someone had broken into our room during breakfast. We reported the theft right away, filed a police report, and followed all the required steps. The management assured us they would contact their insurance and work on reimbursement. We waited patiently, but months have gone by. We have called repeatedly, yet the manager has vanished; our calls go unanswered and we have received no updates, no resolution, and no reimbursement. We expected help with this serious issue but have been left waiting while the hotel evades responsibility. This isn’t a minor inconvenience – €3,000 and a valuable personal item were stolen from our room, and we are left to deal with the fallout while the people who should handle it have stopped responding. We have been patient, cooperative, and have supplied all necessary documents, but all we have gotten back is months of silence and broken promises. We are now pursuing the matter through the proper channels and will not let it slip away. If you’re thinking about staying here, reconsider.
