A clean, small hotel near a beach stretch and within walking distance of the city centre. The location was perfect. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Parking is available nearby for a fee. The hotel is a bit noisy.

This is the third time we stay at Hotel La Punta, and it remains our go‑to spot in Otranto. The staff are friendly and caring, the surroundings are comfortable and clean. The room is spacious, with a large balcony protected from the wind, and the bathroom is roomy and functional. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and you can sleep soundly with the sea waves as background if you leave the window slightly open. Breakfast is superb, especially the homemade pastries. A short, pleasant walk brings you to the historic center. Nothing else to mention.

Great location for the price. The only flaw I noticed was the air conditioning—it felt a bit old, so a filter cleaning might help.
