The motel feels old but has been well-renovated; opening the door revealed fresh paint, hardwood floors instead of carpet, a nice bedspread, and window blinds. Soundproofing between rooms works well, and all the amenities functioned properly. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spotless. Staff were friendly and readily available when needed. It’s a short drive to town for food, drink, and gas, and also a short drive to beaches and parks. The bathroom feels a bit dated, but it has hooks, a handy shelf, a modern heated mirror, a window that opens, and—best of all—excellent water pressure and hot water. The motel sits on the highway, so traffic noise is present, but that’s expected.
