How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The location was great, right in the center and close to the airport bus stop; the room was roomy and comfortable, even with a balcony. The hygiene facilities were lacking, the electric kettle didn’t work, and there were no cleanings on Sundays.

The bathroom was spacious, but the steep narrow stairs made it hard to move luggage; the room felt cramped, the bed was hard, and no staff were seen.

The building had been renovated in the heart of the city, just steps from many bars, restaurants and shops. Free parking was only about 400/500 m away from the property.

We really enjoyed staying at Joy City Suites! The place is beautiful, well‑kept and welcoming, and the spot is super convenient for exploring Chania on foot. We especially liked how kind and helpful the staff were, always ready to assist and meet our requests; we felt genuinely welcomed and would gladly return. The only downside was parking, which can be a bit tricky to find, especially during busy times.

The location was good, communication smooth, self‑check‑in easy, the shower worked well and the bed was very comfortable, offering good value for Chania. The bins, including the toilet bin, were emptied only every other day, and coffee/tea supplies weren’t replenished.
