I want to thank you for the hospitality. Everything was pleasing: the staff, the location, the cleanliness, and the convenience. The view at breakfast was simply wonderful.

The rooms are spacious, the dining area on the second floor has a large window that’s beautiful, and in the evening you can watch the sunset. It gets a bit hot in summer, but the scenery is unbeatable; eating breakfast while looking outside is very relaxing. It’s close to the Hwangri Tour Route; crossing the street takes about 5 minutes to reach the main street. The only downsides: 1. The bus stop is a bit far, about a 20‑minute walk with heavy luggage—light packing is recommended. 2. If you don’t have big luggage, you can walk and see the scenery quickly; along the way there are Mega Coffee/Compose Coffee, McDonald’s, supermarkets… 3. Restaurants near the accommodation close around 8–9 pm, which is early; only one barbecue place opens later.

The location is extraordinary; you’re just a few minutes’ walk from the hill graves and Café Street with many nice restaurants, and the bus stop to Bulguksa Temple is only a 5‑minute walk. The staff speak a little English, which we found very pleasant. The youth hostel is well equipped (washing machine, AC, fan, hair dryer, straightener, unlimited water/coffee/tea), has a TV, and the rooms are large enough for the low price. Overall, we found the value for money unbeatable and had a good time. The only issues: 1. When we booked, it wasn’t clear on Booking that this is a hostel, not a hotel, which we felt was deceptive. 2. The AC had not been serviced in a long time, so it’s so loud that you can’t run it at night; without AC I sweated more than ever. 3. The duvet is made of plastic.

The place is in the city center, close to everything: transport, shops, and attractions. Breakfast was lovely and offered a great view from the kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful with directions. I definitely recommend it and would stay again.
