The price/quality was good, but the stairs were narrow.

“Insect bites”

The location was great, but I got insect bites and found insect eggs in the clothes left on the bed.

The room was comfortable and quiet, and the space was just right for one person for 2 nights; the common areas were tidy, clean and organised, though there was no living room or kitchen table. However, the cleaning of the room itself wasn’t great – I found hairs under the bedsheets while removing the linen, and guests are asked to unmake the beds on departure and take out the rubbish, so relying on guests for cleaning means the standard is unlikely to be high.

“Een gezellig ingericht en fijn appartement met terras, erg schoon en in een vrij rustige buurt.”

The accommodation was easy to access, the room and terrace were nicely furnished, all necessary kitchen facilities were present, and everything was very clean. But the listing should have mentioned that check‑in would be done online by a different organisation; my apartment was on the 1st floor, the bathroom on the 2nd, reached by a rather steep narrow staircase, so carrying all the toiletries up was a bit awkward.

The location was good, everything was close to shops and the start point for the Groningse 4daagse we participated in. It was a pity that we couldn’t watch regular TV channels – only Netflix and similar services were available.
