We had stayed at the 4j lodge reception building before, and this time we booked the 4j lodge building 2 along the waterway. The location is perfect, close to restaurants and a few minutes on foot from various bus stops. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was hearty and varied with fruit, toast, cereal, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate. Hard to do better for that price. We’ll definitely come back again 🙂 Nothing to complain about!

The owner is super kind and very helpful! However, our room was moldy. I understand if a place is older, but mold is unacceptable. In the bedroom mold was around the lamp, on the wall, and in the bathroom as well. Overall, around the faucet it was dirty. The shower tap was also dirty, and the bathroom was generally very small. When sitting on the toilet, you couldn’t fully sit because the legs hit the wall. The shower was in the middle of the bathroom, tiny, and after using it the whole room got wet because it was right next to the sink. It wasn’t cleaned; everything was fine, but the trash could have been emptied after two days. The window was very small. In the bathroom the window was open and a mosquito net was in front of it, but the net already had holes. We were completely sprayed and found small insects like ants and a spider in the room. At night we heard noises from the pipes, the blanket was… I don’t know. The stairwell smelled. The woman was really nice, friendly, and helpful!! But that didn’t help us feel comfortable in the room.
