The room’s fixtures were decent and the staff were genuinely friendly, though the hotel sits a bit out of town and I got a startle in the middle of the night when a decorative pool figure peeked out from the bathroom view.

Good room, decent spa, nearby beach (sea views are beautiful, beach not great). Comfortable bed. Everything needed was there. Staff were wonderful, friendly, smiling; big thanks to them. The air conditioner was either broken or malfunctioning; throughout the night something was knocking on the control panel. Tried to turn it off – didn't help. Sleep was bad. Also a noisy group at night shouted (and it was Monday). The room has a fan, but that doesn't help: still stuffy, no air. The room was a bit tired, as was the whole hotel. The spa was okay overall. But the pool had less water than waist level (why such a pool, to swim in it?), half the massagers in the hydro massage area didn't work, saunas also didn't work. Breakfast was normal, if you like Taiwanese cuisine. If not – you'll be hungry, the selection is extremely sparse. Seems like a decent hotel, but we won't go again.

The exterior looks a little rough because it’s right next to the ocean, but inside everything was gorgeous—rooms spotless and cozy with hot showers and cool AC. After a long day of hiking at Yang Ming Shan Park, the pool area was absolutely delightful.

The location is unbeatable for guests without a car who want to explore all the sights around Jinshan, and I have nothing else to add.
