Tango House

The name of the place is the most appealing thing, the staff member who greeted me was nice, and the small terrace offers nice views but is too cramped for more than three people. The facilities were terrible for the price, and there were cockroaches. The room had no window, so it was scorching hot, and the fan was dusty. I slept badly, was woken up to clean the room without a prior notice before checkout, and left with itchy skin. It was definitely not the best choice.

The terrace was spacious, close enough to the sea yet far enough from the noisy promenades, and the rooms, including the others, were clean and fragrant. Despite being told that certain areas were shared, some unruly guests during our stay ignored the common‑living rules, which made the experience less pleasant; if the rules had been followed, the stay would have been more enjoyable. Unfortunately, even though the place was clean, there were bed bugs in the kitchen area.

The room had a window that faced the corridor leading to the dining room, no air‑conditioning and only a fan, so the night temperature was very high. Broken items—lamps and cabinet pieces—were scattered around the house, and the kitchen was poorly equipped with an outdated microwave.

The welcome was very warm, but it wasn’t very clean, with a lot of hair on the floor and in the bathrooms, the common areas smelled bad and there was cigarette smoke.
