Since we traveled in the off‑season, we were the only guests at that time. We were welcomed with a nice greeting drink. Breakfast and dinner were wonderful, everything was specially prepared for us. Language barriers (almost only Spanish) weren't an issue; we felt like part of the family. For our girls, riding with David (his brother who lives right next door) was the absolute highlight. The horses were great, and David controlled them with his voice so well that even beginners could ride in faster gaits. Another highlight was the parrot Franzini 🦜.

“Muy húmedo”

Geraldina’s service was pleasant. The location relative to Río Celeste was perfect, accessible on foot. The accommodation was dirty, damp, with wet bedding and poor lighting. They should install dehumidifiers in the rooms.

Everything about the stay was perfect. The staff were friendly, the facilities were good, and the proximity to the start of the Río Celeste waterfall trail was ideal. Nothing to add.

The staff greeted us with genuine warmth—friendly and always ready to help. The restaurant served some truly tasty dishes, and our room was spotless, with fresh towels each day. We even enjoyed a garden teeming with frogs, which added a quirky charm to the stay.

“Bungalows dans un jardin fleuri à proximité du parc Volcán Tenorio”

Being so close to Tenorio Volcano Park and the Rio Celeste was a huge plus, and the owner was welcoming and attentive, plus there’s a restaurant on the premises. However, the directions provided online were wrong; the suggested route leads to a path that becomes impassable—and even dangerous—in rain, so you have to take the rocky road by the Tapirus restaurant instead.
