“Цена - качество.”
I spent my eighth year in Sri Lanka and have stayed in various guesthouses. I booked late but for a long stay, and most spots were already taken, so I chose this one. The guesthouse has three rooms. We arrived late because we missed a connecting flight, but the host met us on the road at the scheduled time. The bed was wide and solid—no complaints. Hot water was always available, which is rare in Unawatuna. The beach is just a few minutes away, leisurely. It’s not on the road, so it’s always quiet, another big plus. The air conditioner is brand new! There’s a fridge in the room. At the host’s request, she set up an improvised clothesline outside on the first day. Occasionally, they treat us to coconuts or bananas. The linens are pristine and were changed even when we didn’t ask. A friend stayed with us at Devalle at the same time. She paid three times more, and her room was robbed and the door was broken into. The police shrugged it off, and that’s where it ended. In that sense, everything here is very reliable. After booking, the host is always in touch and answers any questions. You need to understand that the price is evaluated, and the services offered are for that price. So don’t look for any negativity. Yes, there were some minor nuances, but they can’t affect the quality of the stay. For three weeks, tourists came from Russia, Austria, Germany, Italy, and Japan. If you’re not picky, it’s perfectly fine. Have a great stay everyone! 🇱🇰🇱🇰🇱🇰
