The price‑performance was okay, the location was also okay. The beds were uncomfortable and hard. Very strange other guests made the stay very unpleasant. Loud U‑Bahn directly under the building. Overall very loud and uncomfortable. Not recommended.

The place is set in a historic house, so it feels very welcoming and spotless. The only downside is that it’s a bit off the metro stop, though it’s still close.

It’s my second visit, which says a lot. I appreciated how easy the check‑in was. The common areas were cleaned daily and stayed very tidy. The kitchen is well equipped, the showers are spacious, and a supermarket and the metro are just 100 m away. The hotel sits on a main road with heavy traffic, so you can hear the noise if your room (numbers 1, 2, 3) faces the street; the other rooms open toward the back.

I can’t see why the price is so high. Towels aren’t replaced for free within a week and they turn yellow. The soundproofing is awful—subway noise carries on until midnight. Even worse, six rooms share one bathroom. Being the last to use it for two mornings in a row, I ran into the cleaner and the owner, who each confronted me rudely, accusing me of dripping water and leaving hair after showering. The owner even issued a “warning” and threatened to evict me, apparently because I’m an Asian woman. I’ve never felt such discrimination in Ireland in over a year.

I strongly recommend this place for both short and long stays. It’s very clean, and the shared areas are cleaned every day. With two bathrooms, one was usually free, and the kitchen had everything needed for cooking. Breakfast staples like tea bags and fresh fruit were always available—a thoughtful touch. The owner was always kind and helpful, quick to resolve any issue. The city centre is just a ten‑minute metro ride away. I have no complaints.
