The washing machine in the room is a drum type, and you can get dry clothes in as little as three hours. Apart from the fact that the slippers weren’t disposable, everything else was comfortable.

Pros: 1. The staff explained the house rules thoroughly, including a Taiwanese front desk person. 2. The room was fully equipped with an oven, induction stove, rice cooker, and washer‑dryer, which was very convenient. 3. The overall cleanliness was excellent; both the room and bathroom were spotless, and a vacuum cleaner was available to borrow. 4. The location is a bit far from the train station, but it’s very quiet at night. 5. It’s fairly close to Don Quijote and LOPIA, in my opinion. 6. For solo travelers, the bed is large and very comfortable. 7. It’s perfect for solo trips. Cons: 1. The distance from the train station might be a bit much; after a full day of walking, returning could be tough for those with sore feet or elderly guests. 2. The room may feel a bit small, which isn’t ideal for two very large people sharing it.

The price‑to‑quality ratio is very good. There is no room service or towel change; you do the cleaning yourself, but that makes the room cheaper than competitors. All necessities for a stay are available (washing machine, iron, hair dryer, salt, oil, …), so there was no need to bring these items. Additionally, the location is excellent, close to the main train station (10 minutes on foot) and a street full of restaurants. The room is small, but that’s normal in Japan. The receptionists were very kind and handled all our requests. The listing shows rooms of varying sizes, so when we first looked at all of them together, the room seemed larger. However, when we later examined each room’s photos separately, it became clear that they were smaller and accurately represented.

The spot is spot on, the room was super comfy and having a washing machine in the room made laundry a breeze. The only snag was that they only had one big blanket instead of two regular ones.

I could walk straight to Kyoto station, the area was hushed and calm, and the staff were consistently friendly. The room came with a fridge, toaster oven, microwave, stove, and washing machine, and the bed could be folded away to free up living space. Noise was non‑existent and the room was well insulated; the size we picked was just right for one or two people. The only downside was that the pillows were too flat and made sleeping uncomfortable.
