I booked Panchavati Inn through a local tour operator called AtoZ Rooms, which mistakenly advertised it as Mountain Paradise on their website. Because of that wrong name, finding the hotel was a real headache. After the free cancellation window closed, AtoZ Rooms demanded a Rs. 5000 advance from the booking amount, threatening to cancel if we didn’t pay. Since I already had other reservations, I had to pay to keep the trip on track. The hotel itself is fine, but don’t book it via that site; there’s no Mountain Paradise in Joshimath.
