The breakfast was standard, and for a modern 3★ hotel at 150 fr per night, it’s a shame there’s no air conditioning; the room was 29 °C.

The location and cleanliness were good, but on Sunday none of the restaurants were open, there was no coffee machine, the gym closed at 17:30, and there was practically nothing else to do except order food from a delivery service to the room.

The rooms were great, though I paid for the better ones; the basic rooms are just basic… the setting is quiet, outside Sursee. The food was not great, the canteen didn’t impress, and parking fees applied even on weekends even though 80 % of the many parking spots were unused.

It was still possible to book late; security arrived after a call and handed us the room keys, and the breakfast selection was good. The area was extremely large, the breakfast hall was too big and noisy, there was no staff at breakfast to answer questions, nobody knew how the chip worked or whether it had to be inserted; everyone had their own tray like in a cafeteria.
