“Just for the night”
The housekeeping was solid, but the bathroom exhaust fan was dead, the TV didn’t turn on, the microwave was useless, and the step into the room felt too steep.
The pool was closed, and breakfast was not available.
The beds were not the most comfortable.
“I will not stay here again due to the service and upcharge in rate.”
The only bright spot was the checkout process, which was smooth and the desk clerk actually said, “safe travels.” The experience was otherwise awful: there was a single table with four chairs beside the check‑in desk, and milk and cream cheese were left on the counter at room temperature (see Pic 3 & 4); I had to discard the cream cheese. There was a piece of bread or a single bagel left, but no coffee. The manager was chatting with another associate right in front of us while we ate our bread. The lobby was closed at check‑in time, so I had to go to the night desk, a phone‑booth‑sized space with mosquitoes, and rang the buzzer four times before anyone answered the window. I was not greeted; they just asked for my name. The rate was almost three times the normal price because of an event. The parking lot had exposed openings that should have been covered to prevent injuries if stepped on (see Pic 1 & 5). Kid toys were left in the lobby/breakfast area (see Pic 2).
The best value in town! It’s worth the price, easy to find, and the staff was wonderful. My room was excellent, very clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
