“Keep your euros in cash or face penalties”
The hotel is centrally located and the room was very spacious. However, they don’t accept card payments and insist on a €1 = 100 lek conversion rate when paying in local currency, so you end up paying significantly more in local currency. Also, there are only a few parking spots in front, so you may have to pay elsewhere. Breakfast is inflexible; when we asked for around 08:30 or 9, they demanded a specific time, and the breakfast was likely cold and prepared the day before. Finally, the room was quite dusty and triggered my wife’s allergies. The room isn’t dirty per se, but a vacuum wouldn’t help.
