The host is wonderful, the vibe is cute and wholesome, and it’s great value for a short stay. It would help if they offered drinking water, even just tap water. The floorboards creak, but that’s not a major problem. Overall the cabin is very nice.

The accommodation was very clean, the owner was warm. The pool was available for us to cool off, and we could park right in front of the owner’s house. The caravan has air conditioning. The only thing to note is that the shower and toilet are in an external outbuilding. Inside the caravan there are compost toilets and a small emergency sink. A small drinks corner might be missing. We had to ask the owner for water and a glass to quench our thirst because it was hot.

The welcome, the cleanliness of the room and bathroom, the room décor, and the closeness to the Chalons fair were all good. I didn’t realize the bathroom was outside, but there were dry toilets inside the room. The road noise was noticeable, especially after 5 am. Compared to other places, the value for money wasn’t what I had hoped for, yet it was acceptable for a single night.

The hosts were warm, the accommodation was simple and natural with wooden charm and good bedding, and the little garden—pleasant to read under the cherry tree—was a bonus. The pool was great during those hot summer days.
