“Charming cozy gite below Cordes Sur Ciel”

We were thrilled with the owner, a quintessential Dutch woman who sold her house and moved to France to run a B&B, and we loved her; Mirjam is delightful, and Baloe—pronounced Ballou—is charming, though he tends to take napkins from laps at breakfast; the home feels happy, and Mirjam enjoys hosting; she kindly arranged a reservation at a top restaurant in Cordes Sur Ciel, which was fantastic, even though rain fell while we hiked the cobblestones, the dinner was worth it, and breakfast was delicious; the only drawback was that we couldn’t stay longer.

A timeless house, quiet and surrounded by stone walls that whisper history, full of old-world charm and mysteries to imagine. Mirjam is a wonderful host, always smiling and welcoming. We stayed just one night, but wished we could have stayed longer. The Triple Deluxe room lives up to its name: stunning, with superb bedding and a nice breakfast served. Located in Les Cabanes at the foot of Cordes‑sur‑Ciel, Maison au puits is perfectly positioned as a launch point for visiting other medieval villages like Cordes, Castelnaud‑de‑Montmiral, and Bruniquel. A guesthouse I’d love to return to and strongly recommend; thanks Mirjam for the great moments.

“Haus mit Brunnen zum verlieben”

A bit off the beaten path, but very quiet, exactly what you need after a full day on your feet. The hostess is very friendly and cheerful. We felt very comfortable there. The old, beautiful house is a warm, welcoming place for guests. Breakfast was absolutely sufficient for a good start to the day. The courtyard is lovingly designed and invites you to linger. In the entrance area you can brew tea at any time, which is not a given. Thank you for two lovely days!
