“The service and staff were wonderful, very kind and HELPFUL”

The trees were a highlight.

The rustic setting, clean and well‑maintained simple rooms without carpeting, friendly reception, an outdoor picnic and barbecue spot, good location, side tables and chairs, a decent fridge and Wi‑Fi, and an interesting town make it worth a visit. The bathroom felt a bit tight, the HVAC was dated with a wall‑mounted heater and a small AC unit in a corner, and the door locks weren’t very sturdy.

“We had a comfortable stay. The front office staff was super friendly and helpful, would stay there again!”

The location is very pretty and the staff were very friendly. The place felt a little old‑fashioned.

“Good place to stay if you are hiking in the area”

The front desk staff were super friendly and let us check in an hour early, which was really helpful. She also gave great suggestions for local hikes and eateries. The rooms were colorful and visually appealing, and there was a nice outdoor seating spot—though we never used it, it was nice to see. On the downside, the room door had gaps and the bathroom window lacked a screen. Only one of the four pillows felt comfortable; the others were extremely firm. The accent pillows couldn’t be properly sanitized, which felt unnecessary and a bit gross. The table was the standard height, but the chairs were pub‑table height, making it awkward to sit at the table.

“I was disappointed with how run down hotel was”

The owners were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the hotel is very old and offers minimal amenities for the price.
