“Wonderful Hotel Plan on Staying Here”
The young manager DIA, she asked if there was anything could do to make our stay better. When I asked for more pillows she asked why when I hadn’t seen the room yet. After explaining I’d had a double mastectomy a year ago and had been going through the reconstructive stage over the year and my last surgery was 4&1/2 weeks ago. I’d explained I have to sleep straight up for several more weeks. She immediately ran to her office and handed me a special padded seat. Told me to use it until I left. It was amazing how much pressure it took off my backend. When you sit all day then have to sit all night. It’s very painful. She checked on me daily. Her smile and over abundance of kindness and compassion weee unbelievable to a perfect stranger. I’m hoping she and her boss will get to read this. If this is the kind of service the Hampton Inn offers, we’ll stay there again and tell everyone about the hotel and how wonderful “DIA” is. Keep her and give her a raise! She’s a valuable asset to the Hampton Inn Yorkville, IL. By the way we had our adult kids and grandkids come over, the kids used the pool while we watched on. It was clean and a nice pool area. The whole place was great, our room and beds were very comfortable. Job well done. I’m not sure there was anything negative. There was a loud group come in late walking by our room. But the hotel isn’t responsible for grown adults acting like they are drunk teenagers
