We were too late for the flowers, but the host gave us a map pointing out all the nearby attractions in the area and surrounding towns; we visited them all and it was well worth the trip.

Natasha was an excellent host, quickly showing us what to do and where to eat, with prompt and detailed communication. We had breakfast at the Spens and sampled all three restaurants for dinner, all of which come highly recommended. The restaurants are within walking distance of the guesthouse, which boasts a lovely garden with plenty of spots to sit and relax. Unfortunately, the flower season had already ended by the time we arrived, so we missed seeing any blooms.

The rooms were very well equipped, and the communal braai/kitchen was lovely. The bedding was clean and of good quality, and the bathrooms were great. The host was friendly and informative.

Breakfast was served at the restaurant next to the guesthouse, which was lovely. Natasha is an active, involved host who is passionate about the area and wants everyone to experience the surroundings and attractions. She markets the attractions as if they were her own, earning five stars for her hosting.
