The hotel sits on Ishigaki’s Main Street, which is great. Breakfast was delicious and very Japanese, and they offered free sake in the afternoons. The terrace, though, isn’t very decorated or inviting for lingering to enjoy the coastal views.

Located right in the downtown area and close to the island terminal, the convenience was excellent. The amenities were plentiful – even the women’s skincare brand “雪肌精” was available – which I appreciated. The room was small but clean and worth the price. Highly recommended. No complaints.

The room was comfortable, the food tasty, and all necessary services were in place. Being in the city meant easy access to dinner, shopping, and the bus terminal, so getting to the airport was convenient. The view from the open rooftop was also nice. The only issue is that it’s popular, so booking is hard; I was lucky to secure a reservation after more than ten years. That’s not really a flaw, but worth noting.

The hotel is close to the bus station, the harbor, and the public market, with plenty of shopping districts and food options nearby. The breakfast is tasty and worth recommending.

The location was super convenient, right next to the bus station. They served local specialty dishes for breakfast and a nice locally brewed sake in the afternoon, which was pretty good. If you need a towel for water activities, you can borrow one from the hotel—no need to bring a big towel yourself. The seaweed porridge was delicious, but the breakfast menu stayed the same for all three days.
