“Először és utoljára jártunk ezen a szálláson.”
The pricey à‑la‑carte breakfast was nice, but the hotel failed to deliver the promised services, especially the daily cleaning – we went five days without a single room tidy‑up.
“Nice concept, but still missing the little things that make it special.”
The surroundings are beautiful, the décor is stylish, and the houses with lake views could really be special. However, about 30 houses are packed close together, so it feels more like a trendy camp than a private getaway. Your specific house matters a lot: some have lovely lake views, others mainly show your neighbour’s terrace or the reeds. More than half of the houses seemed empty during our stay, so we asked to move to a lake‑view unit. They checked, confirmed one was available… and then couldn’t clean it all day. A shame, because the lake‑facing houses are really the main reason to stay here. Service is very DIY. You park about 250 metres away and drag your luggage over a gravel path, even though golf carts are available on site. Breakfast also apparently missed the invitation. There’s an average restaurant, a small self‑service shop, and a kitchen with roughly the culinary ambitions of salt and pepper. I won’t even get into the generosity of providing four coffee capsules for a two‑day stay in a house designed and charged for four people. One important detail: this isn’t a swimming lake, it’s a marsh. Beautiful to look at, less useful if you packed your swimsuit.
“Schönes Konzept aber das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis sollte noch mal überdacht werden.”
The guesthouse is very pretty, modern and well‑equipped. But everything is very close together – for a longer stay it would feel cramped. The beds are very comfortable. The price‑performance ratio does not match the time we booked. It corresponds to at least a four‑star Superior / five‑star hotel, but it’s only an apartment without breakfast, and you have to wash and tidy everything yourself, otherwise you pay a deposit. The only restaurant has good food, but the prices are so high that you can’t go there for breakfast every day.
I’d say the place is basically a high‑quality, well‑furnished camping site, and in that category it’s great. But at this price, we could have booked a 5‑star hotel instead.
The equipment is great and the beds are very comfortable. Maybe add a toaster so you can make pastries too :)
