The resort sits in a remote spot, with one side overlooking the lagoon and the other just a fifteen‑minute walk to a dirty, unserved beach; the pool is great—thanks to the lovable Lucky—while the room is barely passable, yet the staff are kind and helpful. The only open restaurant had issues: an employee, despite English‑translated orders, sometimes brought the wrong dishes to the table. Outside, nothing is available, and it takes half an hour by car to reach the nearest town and the airport. The property has great potential that unfortunately isn’t fully realized.

The place sits right by the sea, the pool is huge, the restaurant serves tasty food and the staff are extremely friendly; the bed was wonderful and the garden with its pond looked beautiful. The towels felt a bit worn, the shower leaked, and the whole property could use a remodel.

I had a generally pleasant stay at this hotel, but there were some issues with the cleanliness of the rooms. Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was marred by some significant problems with the room's air conditioning and the cleanliness of the washrooms. When I reported the issues to the staff, they kindly changed my room, but the new room's air conditioning regulator was also not functioning properly. To make matters worse, I found a frog in the washroom, which was a major turn-off.
