The bed was comfortable. The road, the air‑conditioning, and the neighbors made noise. No human welcome, only one exchange about codes and access instructions via message. The building felt sad with a closed bar on the ground floor, creating a bleak atmosphere.

The cleanliness and bedding were fine. In the family room there was a low‑volume vibrating noise all night whenever the AC was on—unbearable. Thin walls let you hear the neighbor open a suitcase, turn on the AC, etc. There was no smoke detector and an extra lock on the door was missing. The place felt abandoned. The restaurant and snack bar no longer exist.

The room was clean, except for the coffee machine that had a stale old coffee cartridge. We found this spot at the last minute after a host cancelled an Airbnb reservation. The nonstop truck traffic on the national road kept us awake all night. The description was totally wrong: there was no place to store belongings, no wardrobe, no closet, no shelves; we had to move the bed to open a cupboard and shift the chair to put our suitcase. There was no kettle, no Wi‑Fi (nor TV), no outlet at the head of the bed, no coffee or snack bar on site. The shower door closed poorly and the shower didn’t drain completely. The house door was loose, you had to slam it to avoid waking those already sleeping, and the rooms closed with a key that was absolutely insecure.

This place is a steal - the bed is ridiculously comfy, with amazing sheets and a duvet that made for a great night's sleep. The ensuite is huge, and it's in a fantastic spot to explore the area. Overall, it's hard to beat for the price.

We showed up to find the place was a total mess. The manager didn't speak much French or English and wasn't even around to hand over the keys. All the room doors were wide open with keys just sitting on the beds - not exactly secure. The bar looked like it hadn't been open for 20 years, and the photos on the site were totally misleading. The snack bar across the street was a sketchy roadside joint. Our room was a disaster: hair in the sink, yellow stains on the pillowcases, dusty picture frames.
