“Toller entspannter Aufenthalt!”
The pool was great, the staff super friendly, the food and drinks tasty, the hammock in front of the cabin was a hit, and the walk to the beach was short. Kids were treated wonderfully, too. The mattresses, like many places in Thailand, were very hard.
“Junior Zimmer waren nichts für mich”
Overall a good location, though you have to walk past another resort to reach the beach, which is pretty nice. The staff were friendly. The 1000 Baht deposit felt a bit much, and the Junior rooms are close to the main road, making it noisy; the air‑conditioning is loud, too. Before leaving, we were warned that any late checkout would be penalised financially—a bit harsh. The restaurant was pricey for my taste, and in September the balcony gets so hot that it’s hard to use.
The place is perfect for families, with a beautiful pool for both kids and adults. It’s sheltered from the wind but still close to the beach. The staff are very attentive and kind, making guests feel part of a community rather than just customers.
The spot was spot on, and the team—especially Oil and Raew at the front desk—went above and beyond to make our visit special.
“Being just two of many guests coming and going, it still felt a little bit like being at home”
From the moment we arrived, the family vibe made us feel at home. The owner offered great tips for exploring Koh Phangan, and the staff—especially Tom, the “soul of Baan Kiao,” and the others—were incredibly warm. The balcony hammock was a highlight.
