The women's room setup was good and very private. There were no scheduled activities, and the air‑conditioner had a set time to be turned on, even though the website says nothing about it.

The cat is charming, but that's the only thing worth mentioning. This place shouldn’t even be listed. It is not a hostel; it’s more like a “pay‑by‑the‑day” lodging. You won’t share a room with travelers like yourself, but with people looking for any kind of work and needing a cheap spot in the meantime. The place is run entirely by volunteers—foreigners, not Brazilians, because employing Brazilians could apparently lead to legal issues—to save on wages. They do what they can, but the lack of proper management shows everywhere. It’s basically a house whose owner lives far away and seems to be trying to squeeze every last cent out of it before letting it fall apart. The lockers don’t work, the toilets malfunction, the door handle falls off, and the smell of sweaty shoes in the dorm can be unbearable. Stay here at your own risk.

The place was large and very beautiful, with spacious rooms. It’s relatively close to the main tourist spots by Uber (10‑15 min). The neighborhood is safe. On the day I arrived, there were cockroaches on the floor of the room… I understand it might be part of nature, but I didn’t see them the rest of the days. The duvet/bed cover was broken. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets kept falling off because there’s a plastic mattress cover. The location is good considering how easy it is to get around in Foz by Uber, but it was far from public transport. Breakfast was included but awful! Just bread, ham, cheese, the sugar had a rotten egg smell, the cups did too. It was only coffee and milk, nothing else. The staff were quite friendly and the welcome was pleasant, but there were days when I wanted to cook and everyone was cooking at the same time… there was no set schedule and it was a bit uncomfortable because they were all using the kitchen and utensils (about 10 people). It felt like we were all guests. Overall clean, but the kitchen wasn’t, the utensils were all worn and in bad condition.
