Getting to the cottage was easy at any hour, and Gaëlle was extremely friendly and available before and during the stay to answer questions. The place was clean, especially the bathroom stalls in the rooms, which were very pleasant. My colleagues and I found the bedding very firm, which might be improved. The layout on the ground floor between kitchen and living room could also be reconsidered; it's unclear where to sit. The living room sofa only seats two and the table and chairs take up space but are wobbly and uncomfortable. The breakfast corner is shared between the two rooms, which is inconvenient; why not designate the kitchen as the sole dining area and equip it properly (the current appliances are old, especially the fridge) and make the fireplace lounge a true relaxation space? The garden is not maintained, which is a shame because the pond area below is nice. These remarks are suggestions, not criticism, as the place has undeniable charm and stands out with the quality of its renovations and embellishments already done in the rooms.
