The hotel is in the centre, housed in an old building. The restaurant staff are very responsive, try to remember your preferences, and offer the same dishes the next day. I ordered eggs separately and they did it without question. On the website I booked a Habitación Familiar Superior, described as 27 m², but we were given a small room about 18‑19 m². When I asked if this was the room I had ordered, they assured me it was. A child’s playmat was placed in the tiny room, leaving very little space. The bathroom was also very small, with a hydro‑massage shower, and everything else clearly needs repair. Wi‑Fi in the room was almost non‑existent. One day, a club was playing until 3 a.m. right next to us; even with the old windows closed, the noise was loud. They told us they had a license for this, supposedly to reassure us, but offered a room change if it happened again – it didn’t, so we didn’t use it. There is basically no parking; a few spots are right in front of the entrance, and we were lucky to always find one free. Given the room size, the price‑quality mismatch is obvious.
I stayed right in the heart of Horta, and the rooms were comfy with a decent breakfast. The building itself is great, but the hotel needs a refresh—rooms, common areas, and hallways could use some updating.
