The spot right next to the road didn’t bother us at night – it was quieter than expected. The room was nice, the building historic, and breakfast was decent given only four rooms were occupied. It offered good value. We were also lucky to spot the gorgeous canyon just in front, something we wish we’d known about earlier, otherwise we’d have planned a canyoning trip.

A warm welcome greeted me, the breakfast and dinner were exquisite, the setting in a modern historic building was lovely, and it was perfect for the Stockalper hike; the bus stop is right in front of the building.
