“Clean/Simple but Not for International Travellers”
The room was clean and the area was quiet and seemed safe, which is fine for a cheap night if the following problems don’t bother you. The hotel is clearly aimed at Indians, not international guests: they don’t accept foreign cards and there’s no ATM on site, so I had to ride a motorbike to one, which took almost an hour to sort out. The building is new and still under construction. The first room’s door wouldn’t open properly, so they swapped it for me on the spot. The bathroom window had a gap of a few centimetres, letting a gecko into the room—no problem for us, but worth knowing if you’re sensitive. Staff generally didn’t speak English, and even the owner, who could speak English, didn’t apologise or acknowledge the issues.
