The location is right next to U‑Bahnhof. When we arrived we hadn’t received any check‑in instructions. I had to call later and fill out a long list of names before I finally got the door code. I rushed straight into the room and left quickly to make my appointment on time. The room door wouldn’t close from the outside; it required a lot of force. Around midnight when we returned, the front‑door code stopped working and we couldn’t get into the building. We called the 24‑hour service number, hit a long hold, and were told no one was available and we would be called back. We only received a WhatsApp asking for the room number and the issue, even though I had already left that info at the kiosk. Fortunately, other guests let us in, so we finally reached the room. It took about 40 minutes, and we were left uncertain whether we could get in that night or what to do otherwise.

“Kakerlaken”

I booked four nights. On the first night cockroaches crawled under the kitchen unit, around the bed and underneath. In the bathroom, pests came out of the floor drain. I sent a message to the hotel that night describing the situation, requested a free cancellation, and notified them of my early checkout. There was no response. Two days later I called and received an email saying they would take the matter seriously and investigate. Since then, nothing else. I have reported the infestation to the health department. I’m still waiting for the free cancellation or refund and wonder how quickly the cockroaches can multiply and spread through the water pipes.

The hotel’s location was acceptable for me. At the intersection, the open window made it a bit noisy, but the windows are well sound‑proofed. The hotel was clean and tidy. Unfortunately, the parking I had booked wasn’t correctly recorded in the system, so on the first day after arrival I had no parking spot. The woman on the hotline was not very helpful in solving the issue. There was no lighting in the underground garage, which made evenings and mornings uncomfortable and unsafe. The lighting in the room was also rather weak, especially in the bathroom, which isn’t enough for someone who wants to do makeup.
