The staff were really helpful – they even called a taxi for us. Because it was raining, breakfast was brought to the room on a tray, so I couldn’t really judge it. The only downside was the nightly barking from dogs on the street outside.

The front‑desk ladies were incredibly courteous and pleasant. Unfortunately the room felt cramped, with no wardrobe or even a small table, and the bathroom was on the floor above, which was pretty uncomfortable after dark.

The hotel sits in a peaceful spot and the staff were friendly. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was solid, making for a pleasant stay.

We enjoyed a solid breakfast and spotless rooms, and after the nightly dog barking died down around 10 pm the area was quiet. The Carnival cruise and the diving trip were both highlights, and the island tour with a lunch stop in Calhau was worth it. The only gripe was that the breakfast window starting at 8:30 am was a bit late for our early plans, though the complimentary lunch pack in the fridge helped.
