“Bijzonder dat je in een kamer slaapt waar een voormalige Japanse keizer ooit geslapen heeft!”
The Japanese breakfast was delicious. The décor was a bit dated.

Onsen, helpful staff, food.

The onsens on the 4th floor were great, really authentic, and the staff were fantastic; the Japanese food was genuine and the setting in Kiso was lovely, though there was a slight musty odor.

The staff and the place were amazing; they arranged transport to an onsen when ours wasn’t operating and kindly offered a different western‑style breakfast; the room was stunning with a river view, and the location was very convenient.

The public hot‑water baths and the typical Japanese breakfast were excellent.
