The hotel is close to Shirarahama and the room was spotless; on my second stay this year I got a room with a great view and it was superb.

The on‑sen was pleasant, yet despite the non‑smoking policy the air smelled of tobacco, and every breakfast item besides rice and miso soup was served cold; the dining hall was chilly too, leaving me feeling chilled.

Unfortunately, the futon was really uncomfortable. That was the main issue I had with my stay. The rest of the experience was just okay.
