Country West Motel of Rock Springs

The price was low, but I didn’t stay at this location because they were closed by the time I arrived. This is 100% my fault for not reading the information when I booked the room. However, I arrived at 11:20, couldn’t check in, couldn’t contact anyone and ended up staying in another hotel. Not only did Country West keep the full payment for the night, they also charged me a fee (likely for not showing up). That makes no sense because it doesn’t cost them anything. Even though it was my fault I wouldn’t ever book here again. They never contacted me, wouldn’t cancel my booking (after I called and emailed) and charged me more than the listed booking.

“Good value for the price”

It offered good value and had on‑site laundry, but the room was tiny; you could sit on the toilet and brush your teeth in the sink at the same time.

The place was clean and the staff were friendly, yet the bathtub was extremely slippery—I nearly fell—and they should add grippers. Also, if a room is booked with two beds, it should actually contain two beds.

She was ready when I arrived, remembered my name, and handed me the keys. Everything else was perfect.
