The owners made our stay more than perfect; couldn’t ask for nicer hosts—friendly and polite, they made us feel right at home, so comfortable and welcoming, truly completing our holiday like staying with family. The location was ideal, close to the centre with plenty of shops; our room was amazing and spacious, with everything we needed: cooker, kettle, fridge, microwave, accessories, smart TV, and WiFi. The beds were comfortable, and the room was extra secure with padlocks on the gates. Outside the room, there was also a private secure driveway/parking, so we could park our car there every night safely and free of charge. Honestly, anytime my family and I are in St. Thomas we’ll stay here again. Thank you so much, Barefoot Guest House, 10/10! X. Nothing, can’t say one bad word.

The fact that there was hot water was a plus, but the location looked like it was in the hood and the road it’s on is a one‑way road. There is only one parking spot, so if you miss out on it, you’ll have to park on the street. The rooms smelled like mold and one of the sheets seemed as if it had mold on it. I notified a worker about this and she gave us different sheets. Also, be sure to pay with cash. I did not realize that I wouldn’t be able to pay with my credit card and had to use some of my cash that I had intended to use for other purchases. Also, the cost that the owner quoted me in USD was more than had stated it would have been. I definitely wouldn’t recommend staying here if you have other options. The only reason why we booked this place was because it was last minute and we didn’t have another option. The owner wasn’t that welcoming the night that we arrived. However, he seemed a bit nicer in the morning when we were leaving. Overall, the owner needs to spend some money on upgrading the place, providing more decent amenities, and having much better customer service.
