It’s close to BART, so getting out is fairly easy, but the walk to the station isn’t the safest. The hotel looks cheap, yet it’s still too pricey for what it offers. The staff were very rude and unhelpful, the premises were poorly kept, the location was bad, and the rooms were noisy and dirty—like sleeping in a cardboard box where you can hear the freeway and people being mugged outside.
I was judged and mistreated at check‑in; she kept bringing up a past bad experience with someone else and it was very difficult. I felt bad for her, but it wasn’t her past that mattered. It was late, she canceled, and she insisted I had to notify her in advance—this felt discriminatory. I booked a room and was met with judgment, which made the trip costly and left me with nowhere to stay. It was a disturbing experience.
