I’ve been staying at Lilis’s chalet for years, and it’s always a peaceful retreat. The design is simple yet well thought out, exactly what I enjoy. The kitchen has every tool needed for cooking, and the bathroom is spacious and spotless. Natural light fills the whole place, and the Wi‑Fi works fine. The private garden is gorgeous, perfect for sunbathing and soaking in nature. Lilis herself is an outstanding host—kind, accommodating, and genuinely eager to make guests feel welcome. Communication is swift, and both Lilis and Komang respond instantly to messages and resolve issues quickly. I highly recommend this house!

Every time I visit Ubud, I book my stay at Ubud Auroville again, and this year was no exception. I felt right at home in a place that’s simple, beautiful, and clean. I doubt you’ll find accommodation of this quality elsewhere in Ubud at this price. The enclosed, private garden is a true haven of peace. Lilis replies to every message within minutes, and the new cleaner, Komang, is efficient and meticulous. She speaks a little English, but the AI‑assisted translations we have make communication easy—after all, it’s not nice to impose English on locals. Komang kept the house spotless and paid attention to every detail. I couldn’t ask for more. Lilis, the host, remains amazing, always responsive and deeply knowledgeable about Balinese culture. I warmly recommend this house; it’s become a must‑visit on my Bali trips.

The host was super friendly and attentive, and communication was a breeze. The location is close to Ubud yet in a quiet area, and the host even suggested bike rental spots. Everything needed for remote work is available. If you’re bothered by bugs, be aware that you might spot spiders and geckos because the place is quite open, but it wasn’t a problem for us.

“Great week at auroville”

I loved the studio—it comes with a working kitchen and all the usual amenities. The bed is soft and comfortable, and the AC functions well. The location is quiet but can feel a bit remote if you don’t have a bike.
