The location is fantastic – the lake, shops, and restaurants are all within walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped and the outdoor areas are beautifully designed, inviting you to sit and relax in the sun when the weather is nice. The staff are very friendly, kind, and helpful. The only drawback is the toilets and sanitary areas; they are quite small and cramped, and it would be nice to have more and larger spaces. Free parking is plentiful right next to the hostel. Overall, a very pleasant stay and a clear recommendation. The toilets and sanitary areas are small and cramped; more and larger spaces would be appreciated.

I would rate Adventure Wanaka Hostel 5 stars overall. The staff were genuinely helpful, friendly, and easy to talk to, which made the stay much better. I also liked that the room was cleaned and vacuumed every day, so it always felt tidy. The showers were nice and consistently hot, and there was plenty of storage around the hostel. There are a few things that could be improved. Some of the wall hangers and hooks were partly broken or missing, including some in the toilet. The air conditioning in my room also wasn’t working. The shared kitchen is a little small when several people are using it at the same time, but there is enough fridge space and storage for food.

The location is great, close to Ritchie and the intercity bus stop, and near Hongchao. The value for money is high. The place feels a bit old and the rooms are very small and cramped. Cleanliness is okay overall, but if you're picky you might find it average.

“Hotel de veinteañeros con baños y cocina compartida”

The location is fine. They market it as a hostel for backpackers, surrounded by rooms with many bunk beds, and when you ask for a garage they tell you that the surrounding block is for you to find a place to park without paying.
