“Outmost staff and hotel location making a very good stay”

The Oriental Suites Hotel sits right in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, within walking distance of bars, shops, restaurants, and other sights, and the night market is literally on the street beside it. It’s a boutique hotel in an old building, but the décor is tidy and clean. The staff are fantastic and always friendly. I ran into a few issues with the safe, and each time they entered the room they would remove their shoes before stepping in. As a solo female traveler, I felt very secure and well taken care of. Breakfast is modest but solid for the morning. The value for money is good, and there’s nothing to complain about. Hanoi surely has better hotels, yet the location and the incredibly helpful staff make this place special. I’d stay here again anytime. The only downside is that some rooms face inward toward the hotel’s interior, so they receive no natural daylight.

“Perfect location and excellent staff facilitating a pleasantly busy stay”

Location is unbeatable, staff are fantastically helpful and thoughtful, breakfast service is more than adequate, shower pressure and temperature are great, the room’s temperature and air‑con work well, it’s very quiet for a good night’s sleep, bedside lights are handy, and the ground‑floor reception area is pleasant with good air‑con while you wait for rides. This was my second stay and it matched my first perfectly. I’m already looking forward to a third. Oh, and I got a lovely foot massage on the top floor—a nice treat. The only thing I didn’t like was the Wi‑Fi, which was usually very strong; once it was a bit weak, but I told the staff and they quickly rebooted it, restoring full strength. My room only had a window facing the inner atrium, which felt odd at first but then was fine—after all, I wasn’t staying in the hotel to lounge in my room 24/7. No problem at all, and the inner atrium’s colorful lantern installation is very nice to look at. On weekends, like many hotels in the area, when the Old Quarters shut down for the night market, taxis couldn’t drop me directly at the hotel. The staff met me at the drop‑off point and the walk was super short—too easy. Nothing else was an issue. 10/10 THANK YOU, ORIENTAL SUITES!

“Great vibe only”

I had an absolutely amazing stay here and I can truly recommend this place from the bottom of my heart. Everything exceeded my expectations — from the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and taken care of. The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their positive attitude really made a difference and added so much to the overall experience. The location is perfect, very convenient and close to everything, yet still peaceful enough to relax. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a great stay. Overall, this place has such a great vibe — you can really feel the attention to detail and care for guests. I would definitely come back again and recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and stress-free stay. Thank you for everything!. ——
