The place was quiet, but nobody cleaned our room or brought fresh towels for two weeks.

The room was clean, the fridge handy, the bed comfortable, the area good, and it was a short walk to the trams and buses, but I was given the wrong room key with no apology, the owner apparently demanded money for my dog even though my booking said the stay was free, the room only had four sockets so I had to unplug the kettle to watch TV, the advertised free Internet turned out not to be free, the money demanded was ridiculous, the multiple channels on the TV required a login but no information was left about who to contact if we had a problem, the pillows were nasty, the shower took an age to heat up, there were no hair dryers, and the water usage seemed low despite many guests.

Everything was brilliant, the host was perfect, very friendly and helpful, and I couldn't have asked for more; there was nothing not to like, everything was good.

The location was great, far enough out of Blackpool but a few minutes' walk to the tram or bus, though noise from other guests was an issue.
