“Mit Freunden unterwegs mit Uebernachtung im Hotel Bergführer wir kommen wieder”
The breakfast spread was fantastic – everything from muesli and fresh bread to fruit, cheese and cold cuts was on the table. The staff were genuinely friendly and went out of their way to give us solid tips for our day‑trip. Honestly, I can’t think of anything that was off‑putting.
Since we were on foot and the hotel sits a bit outside the village, we really appreciated the host driving us to the trailhead the next morning. That little extra effort made our hike start off on the right foot.
“Heimelig, Wohlfühlen, Erholung, Freundlichkeit, Geniessen, Abschalten”
Arriving with backpacks, we were greeted by staff who were warm and uncomplicated – we felt welcome right away and got the room instantly. The room’s private balcony offered an amazing mountain view, and the dinner was solid enough that we often ate on the terrace when the weather allowed.
“Würde jederzeit wieder dort buchen!”
We loved the dinner and the breakfast buffet – both were really tasty and the staff were on point with their help. The room itself had a nice balcony, but the noise coming up from the restaurant below (rowdy guests) made it hard to relax at times.
“Genussvoll, geruhsam, interessant, schöne Naturerlebnisse”
The place feels warm and family‑like, which made our stay pleasant. We also took a short trip to Ems and Paul gave an excellent tour of the slate factory.
